TICKET OPERATIONS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help sell tickets at the windows on both game and non-game days.
- Process and prepare group orders for games.
- Answer telephone calls.
- Assist Manager of Ticket Operations with various reports.
- All other duties as assigned by the Ticket Operations Manager.
- Learn about the behind the scenes tasks that must take place in order to give the patrons the best experience possible.
Experience, Education, and Licensure:
- A general knowledge of baseball.
- Must be working towards a degree in Sports Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be Tech savvy.
- Must have good written and oral communication skill.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Willing to learn ticket software like Tickets.com and Provenue (you will be trained!)
Learning Environment:
- Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment. However, employee may have “game-day” responsibilities, where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
- Hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Expect to work 20-30 hours per week (Can be flexible if you have other commitments- a schedule will be made for all interns.)
Expectations:
- Adhere to the New York Boulders Organization Policies and Procedures.
- Act as a role model within and outside of the New York Boulders Organization.
- Performs duties as workload necessitates.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.

Spring/Summer 2026
SALES
Hours Required: 15-25 hours/week, available for some night/weekend events- A flexible schedule will be made for all interns.
Responsibilities:
- Research target markets.
- Collect, organize and input data.
- Attend community events to gain new clients and increase exposure.
- Interact with fan base to promote the product.
- Gain a knowledge of ticketing plans and field questions from fans, especially during games.
- Carry out sales outbound calls as instructed by supervisor.
- Research/develop new and exciting ticket packages.
- Assist with the growth of season ticket package.
Qualifications:
- Seeking a degree in marketing, sales, business, sport management, communication or related field.
- Must have a basic knowledge of baseball.
- Must be highly organized.
- Must be personable both over the phone and in-person.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be creative.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Spring/Summer 2026
PROMOTIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
Hours Required: 20-25 hours per week, available for some night/weekend events. A flexible schedule will be created for all interns to accommodate for other jobs, activities, etc.
Responsibilities – Promotions:
- Help set up ball park for big theme nights.
- Responsible for in-game promotions and activities that give the fans the best experience possible.
- Schedule/attend community events as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
- Help generate promotional schedule for off-season and upcoming season.
- Research promotions and marketing methods.
Responsibilities – Social Media:
- Create, design and execute certain social media posts and campaigns.
- Monitor various platforms.
- Represent NY Boulders brand strongly and appropriately.
- Track social media engagement to identify high performing ideas/posts.
- Support marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Working toward degree in marketing, community relations, media, event planning/services, sport management, communication or related field.
- Must be organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have strong research skills
- Must be mindful and appropriate.
- Must be energetic and outgoing!

BROADCAST & PR INTERNSHIP
Hours: 15-20 hours per week; availability on nights/weekends preferred- Flexible schedule will be created for all interns.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in website maintenance pertaining to team events and news stories.
- Write press releases including game recaps and feature stories.
- Attend and publicize team at community events.
- Shadow “voice of the Boulders”, Marc Ernay.
- Get real on-air experience before end of the season.
Qualifications:
- Working toward degree in public relations, communications, broadcast journalism, sports marketing, or a related field.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, SoundCloud.
- Be creative and open-minded in the approach to PR campaigns.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have good organization and research skills.
- Experience in writing feature stories and/or game recaps preferred.
- Be comfortable working on deadline and have the ability to change priorities instantly.
- Baseball play-by-play experience is required.

OPERATIONS
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breaking down of game day/off season events.
- Experience both the administrative side involved in sports management, the problem solving needed in piecing together all the details involved in a game day to keep corporate sponsorships, clients, and fans pleased, and the man power needed to make all the above happen.
- This position is intended for those who do not want to sit behind a desk.

Spring/Summer 2026
The New York Boulders are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual to be the voice and face of the franchise as the On-Field Host/Entertainment Intern for the 2026 season. The Entertainment Intern will work as a seasonal part time intern and will assist in all aspects of promotions. The individual will be an integral part of the in-game entertainment experience and must show creativity and initiative in coming up with daily crowd interaction, engagement, entertainment, and promotions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute in-game promotions and events including, but not limited to: pregame and post-game promotions, and on-field contests, interviews.
- Encourage excitement among fans (includes dancing, chanting, & singing)
- Greet and interact with customers.
- Be prepared with activities for rain delays – we want to keep fans in the ballpark!
- Assist with game day setup and breakdown.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outgoing and motivated.
- Internship for college credit only.
- Prefer DJ/Entertainment experience.
- Fan-friendly attitude.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences.
- Ability to understand game scripts and adapt quickly to changes.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the game schedule – Able to commit to all Boulders home games.

PHOTOGRAPHY
-Times and games can vary on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Photography of team, fan base, and ballpark.
- Assist with content for social media and website photography.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in photography, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Have knowledge with various cameras and Adobe.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in sports/live photography preferred.
- Comfortable working on a deadline.
2026 Mascot
The New York Boulders are looking for a high-energy and outgoing intern to fulfill the job duties as our mascot, BoulderBird.
**THIS IS A PAID POSITION**
Requirements:
- Energetic and Outgoing.
- Look for new creative ways to engage the fans.
- Help in making each fan have the best possible experience at the stadium.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
Hours:
- All home games (50+)

(1) CLUBHOUSE MANAGER
and
(4) Clubhouse Manager INTERNS
HOURS REQUIRED:
40+ hours per week when the team is in town (less when the team is away), Night and Weekend Events, available May thru August/September.
REQUIREMENTS:
Clubhouse Manager – Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college Sports Management Program OR college graduate looking for an exciting summer. This is a PAID position.
Clubhouse Manager INTERNS – Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college Sports Management Program OR just have a desire to learn the sports management business from the team side. These positions are for college credit/experience only.
We are looking for people who love the game of baseball and want to learn the management side of the game at the professional level.
Housing may be available nearby at an additional cost to you.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to delegate jobs and make sure all work gets done correctly and on time.
- Must be organized and be able to prioritize work to meet the needs of the athletes and coaches.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Have strong organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of laundry/stains and ability to learn food service side of clubhouse.
- Experience handling a budget and managing a tight and perishable inventory.
- Earn extra money driving players – must present valid driver’s license and car insurance.
ATHLETIC TRAINER INTERNSHIP
HOURS REQUIRED:
30-40 hours per week when the team is in town, Night and Weekend Events, available May thru August/September
REQUIREMENTS:
Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a CAATE approved college Athletic Training program.
Currently certified in First Aid and CPR/AED. Position is for college credit/experience only.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Must be organized and be able to prioritize work to meet the needs of the players and coaches.
- Must work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team-oriented.

CONCESSIONS
Description:
The New York Boulders are looking for interns to contribute in the concession stands. This internship is a great opportunity to learn quality customer service and food services side of the ballpark.
Requirements:
- Report to Concessions Manager.
- Work cashier, food runners, etc.
- Quality customer service.
- Ability to be quick on your feet and troubleshoot problems.

NEW YORK BOULDERS BASEBALL
Entering its 15th season of independent professional baseball – competing in the Frontier League – we play 100 games in about 109 days over the summer months. We earned Organization of the Year in 2012 and 2014. We have the nicest ballpark in the area and our league. Come be a part of the fun this summer. The clubhouse manager position is a paid position. Please note that all internships with the Boulders are unpaid, but are for college credit or experience.
