Job Summary: The New York Boulders Professional Baseball Team (of the Frontier League, a Major League Baseball Partner League) are seeking a passionate, outgoing, self-motivated, individual to cultivate new and existing ticket sales relationships to achieve personal and department sales goals
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Sales of the team’s inventory including Season Tickets, Mini-Plans, Hospitality and Group Events
- Generate sales through cold calling, networking, appointment setting, and other means
- Work with others on the sales team to help generate new leads and research new ways to sell ticket inventory
- Attend various community events to help promote the Boulders brand
- Provide excellent customer service to all personal accounts before, during, and after the sales effort
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Previous sales experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic selling skills with a relationship-based selling approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a stressful environment
- Poise with the ability to effectively present information and negotiate with clients
- Strong attention to detail and a great attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Previous experience using ProVenue ticketing software a plus

Job Responsibilities May Vary Depending on Location:
• Welcome guests who approach the concession stand.
• Take orders for food and beverages and prepare food items using appropriate quantities of ingredients.
• Follow proper sanitation guidelines during food preparation and packing activities.
• Process cash payments and tender change, along with ensuring that all received cash is well-accounted for and stored in a safe area.
• Participate in the set-up of concession stands, arrange inventory of supplies and communicate shortages of deficiencies.
• Perform clean-up duties after each shift and ensure that concession stand is sanitized and tidied up for the next attendant.
• Clean and maintain food preparation equipment such as grills and ovens on a regular basis.
• Serve group parties in suites and other luxury spots in the ballpark.
The New York Boulders are looking for a high-energy and outgoing intern to fulfill the job duties as our mascot, BoulderBird.

Hours:
- All home games (50+)
- Community events as needed
The Stadium Cleaners will be called upon to support custodial operations during all full-stadium events (sporting events, concerts, banquets, expos and corporate functions, etc.). Responsibilities may include any combination of the following tasks: trash removal, recycle removal, surface cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning. Specific responsibilities for each cleaner will be determined by event needs, management direction, and Cleaner capabilities/experience.
General Responsibilities:
- Performs custodial tasks as assigned within their designated zone.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
- Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with approved procedures
- Clear/Clean all seating sections, concourse walkways, stairwells, ramps, sidewalks, and pedestrian pathways of debris and graffiti
- Recycle all cardboard, paper, or plastic debris generated throughout the event.
- Refresh all paper products and soap in restrooms as needed.
- Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
- Meets all client quality expectations in assigned tasks
- Adheres to stadium security procedures
Requirements
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as determined by events schedule.
- Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance

- Negotiate sponsorship agreeements to achieve mutually benefical terms for both the team and sponsors.
- Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Account Management
- Foster strong relationships with sponsors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill sponsorship commitments and deliver a seamless partnership experience.
Market Analysis
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of ticket sales or sponsorship sales experience.
- Strong understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape and marketing trends.
- Execeptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Qualifications
2 years or more of sales experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.) and CRM.
